How we charge
Every matter is different, so we price our work on a case-by-case basis rather than publishing fixed fees. What your matter costs depends on its complexity, the work involved, and how it progresses.
We begin with a free initial consultation to understand the details of your case and what you need. After that, we give you a clear quote or cost estimate before you decide whether to instruct us, so you can make an informed choice with no obligation.
If you ask us to act for you, we confirm our fees and the basis of our charges in writing in a client care letter at the outset, in line with the requirements of the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Depending on the matter, this may be a fixed fee or an hourly rate.
Your costs may also include disbursements, which are payments we make to third parties on your behalf, such as court fees, search fees, or experts' fees. We keep you informed of costs as your matter progresses and will tell you promptly if an estimate is likely to change.
To get a quote for your matter, please contact us to arrange your free initial consultation.
You can also read more about how we work out the cost of your matter on our price transparency page.
